And while i think the notion of having a strong or righteous "self-nation" is worth striving for, our genes our hardwired for self-preservation and a lot of the times greed,power, and fear drive us to do, well u kno cccarrrazy sh**. Most of us can't help it.  We were once reptiles and some of those traits still lie in us.
